Achievements

• The group has received recognition as a Research Group of Excellence from the Department of Education and Science of the Valencian regional government (Programa PROMETEO para grupos de investigación de excelencia). CIPROM2021/044.
• We belong to CIBEREHD (Centro de Investigación Biomédica en Red en el Área temática de Enfermedades Hepáticas) a central government-funded national network of research groups in the area of liver and digestive diseases.
• Nadezda Apostolova is a member of COST Action CA15138 (European Network of Multidisciplinary Research and Translation of Autophagy Knowledge) funded by Horizon 2020, the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
